A QUOTE THAT MADE ME STOP FOR A MOMENT.

Research points in the same direction. Leadership is never "just work." The way a leader communicates, gives feedback, handles mistakes, celebrates success, or simply shows up every day shapes far more than performance. It influences confidence, motivation, stress, and, ultimately, well-being.

The longer I lead people, the more I see leadership as a responsibility rather than a privilege. It's a role that requires constant learning, self-awareness, and the humility to keep improving. People trust you with a significant part of their lives and spend a huge portion of their time with you. That trust should never be taken for granted.

Because leadership isn't measured only by results. It's also measured by the experience people have when they work with us.

I don't believe leaders have to be perfect, but I do believe they should be intentional. Every conversation, every decision, every interaction leaves a mark, whether we realize it or not.

That's why I hope I never reach the point where I think, "I've figured leadership out." I hope I always keep learning, because the impact we have on other people is simply too important not to.
